About the Prairie Village Arts Council
The Prairie Village Arts Council is a volunteer committee of the City of Prairie Village, working with The Prairie Village Municipal Foundation to foster cultural awareness and development in the City of Prairie Village.
The Prairie Village Arts Council curates the R.G. Endres Gallery, located in the Municipal Complex at 7700 Mission Road, and in partnership with JCPRD, the Gallery at Meadowbrook Park Clubhouse. Both of the galleries show bi-monthly exhibitions of regional artists, and the Endres Gallery hosts two annual juried competitions as well. Second Wednesday artist receptions are held every other month from 7-8pm. The Arts Council works with the Prairie Village Arts Show, the Arts Council of Johnson County and their annual Shooting Stars Awards Gala, JazzFest, VillageFest, and many other community events and activities. |
